Ikenna’s Twitter handler sparks mystery as fans scramble to expose identity

Ikenna Ekwonna’s stay at the Love Island villa may not have been truly memorable, but his Twitter team more than made up for his lack of spark.

And now fans are trying to work out the identities of the people behind a series of hilarious tweets during the 23-year-old pharmaceutical salesman’s appearance on the show.

One person asked: “Can we find out who is behind this page now so we can follow you for more funny content.”

The contestant from Nottingham has accrued over 47,000 Twitter followers during his time in Majorca and the brains behind his social media site have been keeping his fans amused throughout.

They signed off with this final tweet: “We couldn’t be prouder of Ikenna as his team. He stayed true to himself in the villa and was honest about how he felt till the end! Thank you for rocking with him guys!

“This is the last tweet from the team controlling the Twitter account! Ciao!”

The response to that tweet was overwhelming, with a follower writing: “Please don’t leave us. How am I going to continue watching without you (I’m gonna keep watching)? Who’s going to get me through each episode? Tell us your name.”

With Ikenna heading for pastures new, former partner Indiyah wasted no time in moving in on Dami, with the pair locking lips for the first time, before enjoying another passionate snog later.

And Ikenna’s account reacted to the news, by messaging: “NAH WHAT MY CORPSE AINT EVEN COLD YET INDIYAHHHHH. THIS MUST BE STAGED."

But viewers weren’t very sympathetic, with one follower penning: “Stop complaining you didn’t step up to show Indiyah how much you cared for her. It was like watching paint dry with you to step up, so boring.”

A second commented: “Your corpse was even cold in the villa.”

Nevertheless, though, fans were generally in support of the tweets emanating from Ikenna’s stable, with one person writing: “Whoever runs this account needs a raise”, while another added: “Can the person behind this account join the villa please”?
