BROCKHAMPTON Shares Video Teaser of Upcoming New Project

BROCKHAMPTON opened their 2021 with some exciting news, possibly teasing the followup to their 2019 album GINGER.

Taking to social media, the boy band shared a short video teaser that follows the visual aesthetics of old PC games. The hand pointer on the monitor clicks on the words “New Light” as unheard music begins to play in the background, and a man who is dressed in orange bottoms, a white T-shirt and blue longsleeves — almost harking back to the group’s uniform from the SATURATION area — is seen falling down a hole. He hits the ground of what looks like an underground cave, and several BROCKHAMPTON members begin to appear as silhouettes. They prepare to enter a mechanism that’s billed as a “NEW MACHINE,” and the teaser ends with a phrase that reads, “THE LIGHT IS WORTH THE WAIT.”

BROCKHAMPTON’s last full-length dates back to August 2019’s GINGER and the boy band has been on the down-low since, with the exception of their TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES lockdown series.

Elsewhere in music, Justin Bieber shared a Rocky-inspired visual for his new single “Anytime.”
