Aaron Carter listed home for sale for fresh start before tragic death aged 32

The late popstar Aaron Carter listed his home for sale to start a "new chapter", before his tragic death at the age of 32 years old.

The former child star and rapper, best known for albums including Aaron's Party and Love, was found dead at his home in Lancaster, California on November 5, 2022.

Aaron had listed his home for sale on October 29 for $829k (£728k), before dropping the price of the location by $30,000 (£26,000) just one week before his death.

Posting on social media, the late star shared photographs of the home, and explained how he was looking forward to selling the home and making a "beautiful life for his family".

He tweeted alongside the photographs: "Selling my second home.

"Real estate has been super good to me.

"Ready for a new chapter in my third home which I plan on staying to make a beautiful life for my family."

He added: "This year has been super tough but I've learned so much. Thanks for the support everyone."

However, it was reported on Saturday that Los Angeles county police arrived at the singer's home at around 11am, after receiving a report of a man having drowned inside his bathtub.

Website TMZ said Aaron was found dead in the bath at his home in Lancaster, California, on Saturday morning.

Representatives of his team later confirmed his death.

Aaron, who is the brother of Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter, rose to fame at the age of nine years old with hits including Crazy Little Party Girl, before releasing four studio albums.

He also appeared on Nickelodeon TV programmes including All Like That, as well as touring with The Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears.

The singer also took part in Dancing With The Stars in 2009, where he came in fifth place.

Aaron also shared an 11-month old son with model Melanie Martin, who the star was previously engaged to, but after the couple split and later reunited, the singer confirmed in a tweet that they had decided to part ways.

He said: "My relationship has come to a point where we have to part ways. Please respect my privacy at this time. Thank you."
