Modi’s BJP leads elections in Delhi region

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s national ruling party appears to be expected to win a major regional election in the Indian capital, with voters rejecting Mr Modi’s Hindu No. 1 platform in nearly three decades, even if it’s in the vast country as a whole elsewhere has expanded its footprint.

Early results of the New Delhi Regional Parliamentary Election on Saturday showed that Bharatiya Janata party had more seats than AAM AADMI party. A small party, Aam Aadmi, has ruled the capital zone for the past decade, despite increasingly fighting Mr. Modi’s efforts to crush it.

The political struggle to manage the capital region has represented the tailored nature of Indian politics.

Muddy rival parties have been competing for votes, as well as stressful strategies that include AI’s heavy false propaganda movement and politicians’ direct imprisonment.

Meanwhile, basic government services provided to more than 20 million people seem to be increasingly paralyzed.
