Miss and Mr. Golden Globe Awards

For years, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has chosen the children of celebrities to carry the awards season torch and help host the annual Golden Globes.
The coveted titles of Miss and Mr. Golden Globe date back to 1963, when Donna Douglas and Eva Six shared the honor. However, the tradition of the role being filled by a celebrity child did not begin until 1971. Anne Archershe became a successful actress in her own right.
Being Miss or Mr. Golden Globe — or, in 2018, a Golden Globe Ambassador — does include some on-show responsibilities. Throughout the event, ambassadors assist presenters in presenting awards and escorting winners off the stage.
The ambassador program was discontinued in 2021, although many stars have filled the role over the years.
