It’s unclear whether Cyrus’ current home has been affected by the ongoing natural disaster, but one of her previous homes was destroyed in a fire in 2018. At the time, Cyrus was married to the actor Liam Hemsworth. (Cyrus and Hemsworth, 34, split in 2019 and finalized their divorce the following year.)
“It’s been such a heartbreaking few days. This is the only thing left in my house. Love,” Hemsworth wrote on Instagram in November 2018, sharing a photo of their front porch and a “love” sign . “Many people in Malibu, California and the surrounding areas have also lost their homes, and my heart goes out to everyone affected by the fires.”
