President-elect Trump confirmed on Friday that he spoke with Chinese President Xi Jinping days before Trump was inaugurated.
“I just had a phone call with President Xi Jinping of China. This was a very good call for both China and the United States,” Trump posted on the truth social networking site.
“I expect we can solve many problems together and start immediately. We discussed balanced trade, fentanyl, TikTok and many other topics. President Xi and I will do everything we can to make the world a more peaceful and secure place!”
