Man on FBI’s most wanted list arrested in Lake County
A Missouri man on the FBI’s most wanted list was arrested Saturday morning in Lady Lake.

According to an FBI report, around 9:15 a.m., Lady Lake police stopped 60-year-old Donald Eugene Fields II during a routine traffic stop on U.S. Highway 27/441 at Rolling Acres Road.
The license plate on his vehicle did not match the registered vehicle.
Fields was federally indicted in St. Louis on December 7, 2023, on one count of child sex trafficking.

Fields II also faces charges of statutory rape, statutory sodomy, child molestation and witness tampering in Franklin County Circuit Court in Missouri.
The FBI commends the LPD for their work. “Thanks to the aggressive policing of the Lady Lake Police Department, one of the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted fugitives has been captured,” said Special Agent in Charge Johnson.
Fields is scheduled to appear in federal court in Florida.
