At the age of 35, Kei Nishikori is turning the 2025 season into his glory days.
Wild card player Kei Nishikori leads the 19-year-old 4-3 Shang Juncheng When the Chinese teenager retired, Kei Nishikori reached the Hong Kong Open final.
Former U.S. Open finalist Kei Nishikori advances to the final for the 27th time in his career and the first time since winning the title in Brisbane in 2019.
The win puts Nishikori back in the top 100 for the first time since October 2021.

Mueller fails miserably Jaume Munar 4-6, 7-6(5), 6-4. Muller led 5-0 in the second set tie-break before sealing the victory in the third set.
This is the second time in his career that Muller, the 2023 Marrakesh runner-up, has reached the finals. Muller rose to No. 59 in the ATP Live Rankings, a career-high.
