Los Angeles home quarrels and residents’ horror balcony crashes

LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – A balcony collapsed near Silver Lake in Los Angeles on Saturday night rattled residents and took one to the hospital.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. in the 800 block of Robinson Street near Marathon Street.

“We heard the prosperity at night and we got up. We just went to bed.” “We showed up on the balcony and we could hear moans on the other side. Fortunately, we didn’t directly collapse under the balcony.”

McCauley explained that his neighbor, four people and a dog came out on the balcony, and it was three stories to enjoy the night of sudden concessions and hit the balcony below them.

“I called 911 and we just jumped,” he said. “We knew something terrible happened, and it was very surreal.”

McCauley’s wife quickly pondered and used them to help pull up the sheets, the men were trapped around the corner with furniture that fell off the tortured structure.

In video footage of the incident obtained by KTLA, city fire trucks lined up on narrow block streets while responding to the collapse.

Among the people on the balcony, one was taken to the hospital with a wrist injury, while the other three refused medical treatment. The dog was not injured either.

In the video of the collapsed balcony, it seems that the right side of the structure gives way. It is not clear how much damage to the balcony below it is.

“They are a little shaken, but everyone is very grateful for everyone’s health and safety,” said McCauley.

Los Angeles Department of Construction and Safety inspectors reportedly told residents that recent heavy rains have damaged the structure and caused it to collapse.
