Lockheed Martin to deliver 110 F-35 fighter jets in 2024
(Reuters) – Bethesda, Maryland-based defense contractor Lockheed Martin Corp will deliver a total of 110 F-35 fighter jets to the United States and its allies in 2024, the company said in a statement on Wednesday. .
Chief Executive Jim Taiclet said on an earnings call last summer that total deliveries had reached a ceiling of 75 to 110 jets.
Lockheed raised its sales target in July after the Pentagon resumed deliveries of F-35s after months of delays in software upgrades. Lockheed has been upgrading the jet under the Technology Renewal 3 (TR-3) program, which provides the F-35 with better display and processing capabilities.

Lockheed’s F-35 program contributes about 30% of the company’s revenue.
