The fun whack-a-mole electronic console is paired with a health tracker fitted to the collar. It provides data to an app on physical and brain activity. 

Joipaw creators Dersim Avdar and Marco Jenny said: “Imagine being informed early if your dog is showing signs of joint issues or dog dementia?”

Dersim, 31, got the idea while looking to entertain his pet. The gamer found research on canine cognitive ageing using a touchscreen that proved so popular dogs kept on playing when left alone with the device.

He said: “That was my a-ha moment.”
