Model trolled over breastfeeding snaps says ‘breasts exist to feed children’

A former Victoria’s Secret model was trolled for sharing breastfeeding with her 6.4 million followers.

Elsa Hosk faced backlash for nursing her seven-week old daughter Tuulikki in a picture posted to social media.

In the sweet photo, the Swedish star cradles her little one on her way to work.

She captioned the post: “Mom’s first day back on set and look who came along.”

The 32-year-old, who welcomed the baby a couple of months ago with her partner Tom Daly, was bombarded with cruel DMs.

She was baffled that blokes seemed to be offended by her posting a “natural” part of motherhood online.

On her Instagram story, she hit back: “Find it interesting the amount of DMs I get from men who get offended when you post a photo breastfeeding.

“Like why is the most natural thing so offending to you?

“Breasts literally exist so we can feed our children.”

Thankfully, Elsa received a lot of support when she spoke about the online hate she was receiving.

Pictures of her have garnered more than 517,000 likes on Instagram in recent days.

One fan gushed: “This is a beautiful tender moment between mother and child.”

Another said: “I love that you are highlighting breastfeeding.”

A third wrote: “Such a cute baby. Love the confidence. You go mama!”

And a fourth added: “I love to see when models promote breastfeeding.

“They inspire many women around the world and this is great!”

Elsa Hosk isn’t the only woman to experience backlash after posting breastfeeding pictures.

She hit back at trolls for “judging” new mums and urged people to be kinder online.

Meanwhile, a mum was sent vile messages after a photo emerged of her breastfeeding her three-year-old son in public.
