McVitie’s launches passion fruit flavoured Jaffa Cakes – and they sound amazing

In recent months, we've seen all kinds of flavours hit the market, like strawberry and even orange with cranberry.

Now if you're looking for something a little bit more fruity, the brand has just released a new delicious flavour.

The passion fruit Jaffa Cakes features the same sponge base and dark chocolate topping with a zesty middle.

And this new flavour will leave you feeling like you're on a warm holiday abroad – just what we need right?

On the description, it reads: "Turn your afternoon into a tropical pool party without leaving your desk."

The new flavour is now available in Asda supermarkets for a retail price of £1.20 for a pack of 10 cakes.

It comes after McVitie's released a delicious new Jaffa Cakes flavour for its Christmas range.

The orange and cranberry cakes came as part of the brand's festive collection that also included two new Digestives biscuits.

Christmas pudding and a gingerbread flavour were released last month during the festive period.

And if you're a huge sweet tooth, Tesco is now selling Terry's chocolate orange mini eggs.

Although Easter might feel like a lifetime away, the supermarket giant has already began stocking its chocolate eggs.

The treats come in both milk and white chocolate forms that both look delicious.

Tesco shoppers can pick up 80g bags of the good stuff for just £1 from their local supermarket.

Since it was shared on Facebook, many fans branded the eggs as "amazing" and "game-changing".
