It appears Matthew Perry and fiancée Molly Hurwitz have traded in their “Friends” merch for plaid shirts.
The engaged couple recently stepped out in the Burbank, Calif., area, marking their first appearance together since November’s engagement news.
Twinning in similar plaid pattern tops, Perry, 51, and Hurwitz, 29, also sported black slacks and face masks during the outing, where the literary manager also gave a glimpse of her engagement ring.
Perry confirmed his engagement to Hurwitz last fall, telling People at the time, “Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time.”
The couple has been dating since 2018.
In addition to wedding planning, Perry is primed for a busy year ahead.
Not only is he set to appear in the star-studded comedy “Don’t Look Up” — which was filmed in Boston in late 2020 — but Perry is also set to reunite with his “Friends” co-stars for the highly anticipated HBO Max reunion.
Last week, Perry’s “Friends” castmate, David Schwimmer, hinted the cast may revive the characters from the beloved series.
“Nothing is scripted, and we are not in character,” Schwimmer said on “The Graham Norton Show,” according to the Daily Mail. “We are all ourselves, although there is one section of it that I don’t want to give away, but we all read something.”
Perry played Chandler Bing on the popular sitcom that aired on NBC from 1994 to 2004. In addition to Schwimmer, the series also starred Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc.
In December, Perry posted photos of Hurwitz modeling “Friends” merchandise, which benefitted COVID-19 relief groups.
