The “Uncut Gems” muse rocked another head-turning look at the CFDA Awards last night, wearing a black cut-out dress with a bikini and sporting silver hair, but the real star of her ensemble was a customized “Fox” clutch — complete with a lighter.
Fox, 32, walked the red carpet in a bold turtleneck dress by Italian label Valerievi, showing off her midsection in the piece — which featured an entirely cut-out middle with an attached bandeau bra top and matching black bikini bottom.
The daring dress wrapped around her body like a cape, allowing the actress to tuck her hands inside the fabric — but left them free to light up with a special accessory.
On the red carpet, she carried the Edie Parker black satin “Hit Bag” ($295), which is designed to look like an “elevated interpretation of a joint” — but later in the night, the foxy star whipped out a different bag from the label featuring a slot for her lighter to pop out the top.
Showing off a custom black “Slim Jean” lighter bag ($1,095) with her last name emblazoned on it, the actress demonstrated how to use her clever clutch in an Instagram video.
Along with her firey bag, Fox sported another new look to the event, showing off slicked-back gray hair along with a departure from her usual “Fox eye” makeup.
“This is a love letter to getting older,” she said of her hair in a red carpet video The Cut posted on Instagram. “We’re embracing getting older.”
Only the top of her hair was colored gray, which she wore in a gelled look tucked back to reveal silver ear cuffs.
