The Duchess of Sussex’s friend Jessica Mulroney posted a cryptic message on Instagram about ‘rising above’ criticism.
The Toronto-based stylist shared a quote on her social media that suggested the social network could be ‘toxic’ and full of ‘unhappy people’, telling her followers: ‘Don’t let it get you down. Always rise above it.’
The message won praise from a number of followers, including Meghan’s other close friend Daniel Martin, who shared a string of emojis in the comment section, including the love heart and thumbs up.

The post, shared yesterday, showed a typed message, pictured, with the caption: ‘I get asked a lot about this. Instagram is a great business practice but it can be toxic. Here is my truth. Always rise above and always be a decent human being’

Daniel, who is also a close friend of Jessica Alba, has spoken out in support of Meghan
Meghan’s close friend Daniel quickly responded with a heart, and three hand emojis showing a thumbs up, ‘rock on’ and fist. The fist gesture in real life is associated with protests and support of someone.
Other followers also appreciated the positive message. One posted: ‘You have such class I love it.’ Another wrote: ‘Ones who criticize most are most likely consumed by jealousy.’
A third added: ‘Thank you for this wise advice as I have seen so much toxic comments about my fam and I just don’t get the lack of kindness in people.’
