Leaders hold emergency meeting to support Ukraine

EU leaders are holding an emergency summit in Brussels, highlighting ways to enhance the mainland’s defense capabilities and how to provide the best support for Ukraine in military and diplomacy.
U.S. President Donald Trump’s move to open bilateral peace talks with Russia, threatening to end U.S. security protections for European allies who have spent more money on defense, his huge relationship with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has made generations of U.S.-European relations and has plunged EU leaders into Crisis.
Zelenskyy participated in talks in Brussels, with 27 EU state leaders going to provide political support for a series of new proposals from the European Commission to promote a surge in defense spending – a push for a huge push this week by bringing Friedrich Merz to German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s historic Berlin’s historic Berlin.
However, a support agreement to Ukraine may be difficult given the stance of Hungarian leader Viktor Orbán.
The summit was a two-week crazy shuttle diplomacy between Washington, London and Paris by the top European leaders in an attempt to design a “peace plan” in Europe that could involve Ukraine’s forces and maintain Trump’s support and continue to support Ukraine and protect Europe.
