On Friday, February 14, Whitmore wrote a lengthy post via Instagram containing photos of himself and Flack, who died in February 2020 at the age of 40. Her post also includes screenshots of two women sharing text messages.
“I received a new phone this month,” Whitmore, 39, wrote, explaining that many older messages popped up when she tried to download WhatsApp messages from iCloud.
Whitmore shared that the message between her and Flack “showed Caroline a side, which is nice to remember.”

“I’ve said everything I can say in a tragedy, don’t want to misunderstand words, need to take care of my own mental health. This is the last letter I’ve ever had with her. I want to think that no matter where she is now, she was in a peaceful and lovely place like I hoped. ”
