Las Vegas police investigate Tesla Cybertruck fire in front of Trump Tower

The Las Vegas Police Department is investigating a vehicle fire outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas this morning involving what appears to be a Tesla Cybertruck.

A vehicle fire broke out at the entrance to the hotel, according to a police department social media post.

Police said the fire had been extinguished and urged the public to avoid the area.

In another post on X, President-elect Trump’s son Eric Trump issued a statement on the incident.

A Tesla electric truck reportedly caught fire outside Trump Tower in Las Vegas on Wednesday.

“Earlier today, an electric vehicle fire was reported on Trump’s Las Vegas porch,” Eric wrote. “The safety and well-being of our guests and employees remains our top priority. We sincerely appreciate The prompt response and professionalism of the Las Vegas Fire Department and local law enforcement.”

Police did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for more information.

Fox 5 Las Vegas reported that smoke could be seen billowing from the tower in footage obtained by the outlet. The station also reported that it obtained video showing that the Tesla Cybertruck may have pyrotechnics hidden inside.

Several police and ambulance vehicles were also reported in the area.
