Rehearsal ceremony
Jojo will start coffee and exercise in the morning, but once she arrives at the venue, she will have a specific routine.
“I’m going to start warming up and doing makeup and work. I like to spend time. I don’t like rushing,” she told us. “I was rushing when I was young and I learned that I hated this feeling, so I was really cold.”
As Jojo relaxed, she listened to some “Great Singer” music Jasmine Sullivan,,,,, Cynthia Erivo,,,,, Whitney Houston,,,,, Anita Baker and Chaka Khan.
She said of her talent on the playlist: “It’s only possible to get me into the area by being inspired by their voices.”
Before Jojo came on stage, she also liked to do a “voice warm-up” and she learned from a teacher that she “worked with the past few years”.
Her essentials
“My travel rider is fruit. Pineapple is my favorite,” she told us. “The enzymes in it are really good for you to have mucus, but I tend not to struggle anymore because I follow an anti-inflammatory diet when I tour because mucus is the enemy of the singer.”
In addition to pineapple, Jojo also chose berries, coffee, local honey and Ivian water. But the “too few” singer is “trying to get rid of plastic and make a fillable water bottle.”
Jojo also needs to “emanate bright candles” along with her snacks.
“It depends on what kind of atmosphere I’m in. I usually travel with my own candle and bring it with me,” she said. “So it could be something from city to city cohesion.”
Favorite songs to play
“It changed, but now I really like playing a song called ‘Dissolve.”
Embarrassing moments
“I laughed at a trip and looked back and wanted to die a little bit,” she recalled. “But I also had to accept that it was what I wanted to do at the time.”
Jojo shared that she would “put someone on stage” and hold it in every show.
“It’s certainly not sexual excitement. So, I think it’s a better idea,” she said. “We choose a different person in the audience every night and I’m like, ‘Why am I doing this? It’s not sexy.'”
The weirdest signing request
“I think I’ve stopped people from signing my autograph because I’ve been doing it for a long time,” she admitted. “When things go weird, it’s like I don’t know where they go because I don’t remember them. But of course, I signed a lot of breasts in the day. I’ve signed the faces…I listen, I don’t judge.”
Pre-display nerve
“I always feel nervous before I go on stage. Actually, I have had several meetings with a sports psychologist recently who help athletes get into the area and be able to perform under stress,” she explains. “I met him through a friend of mine who is now on a Broadway show and they are performing the most shocking performance every night.”
Jojo shared that she asked her friends how they could reach a “view”, which led to her contact with the therapist.
“I think what I’m trying to do is get out of my own way and stop thinking about myself and how I serve the audience, fans, community members who might need,” she told me. us. “What do they need me to embody in this song? How can I be a boat when I am a boat? It sounds cliché, but I’m a spiritual person and that’s what makes me feel better.”
Favorite travel souvenirs
“I picked up tattoos along the trip and travel,” she said. “I have this beautiful New Zealand Maori tattoo that was given to me by the artists there, who told them with bare hands and told a story that everyone is part of my life, even those who are no longer in the physical world, and how it contributes to the people I am today. So it’s something I carry everywhere.”
Relax after display
“I love these adaptive drinks without alcohol, but it’s like a different, cold thing,” she revealed. “I want to feel refrigerated.”
In addition to having a quality drink, Jojo will also pair with a meal before going to bed.
