Teddi Mellencamp’s EX shares latest information about brain cancer surgery

On Thursday, February 13, Arroyave, 47, shared the surgery that “goes well” in his Instagram story.
“So many people are asking for updates. All I want to say now is that the surgery is going well,” he wrote. “That is, I’ve never seen @teddimellencamp so painful. She finally got some rest she needed. I know she’s so grateful for the pouring of love.”
In an earlier post shared via his Instagram story, Arroyave uploaded a photo of Cruz, the son of an estranged couple, who did it for his mom when he recovered with him and his classmates A card. (Arroyave and Mellencamp filed for divorce in November 2024 after 13 years of marriage, and also shared 12-year-old Slate, Dove and Dove, 4. Mellencamp is also the stepmother of Arroyave’s eldest daughter Isabella.)

The update comes a day after Mellencamp publicly revealed her health, revealing on Instagram that doctors are about to operate on her after discovering multiple tumors in the brain.
Mellencamp, 43, wrote in an Instagram post shared on Wednesday, February 12: “I have been dealing with severe debilitating headaches for the past few weeks.

Mellencamp added in the post that two of the tumors were removed during the surgery the same day, while the others would be treated later.
“The remaining smaller tumors will be treated later by radiation,” she wrote.
Mellencamp continues to thank her loved ones and the medical team for their support in the face of difficult times.
“I’m lucky to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses and surgeons who are doing everything they can to get me back to health,” she added. “Thanks to everyone who has reached out, and at Supporting everyone I have on this journey.”
The health news for the reality show star comes two years after Mellencamp’s battle with stage II melanoma cancer and shared her diagnosis in October 2022. A few months before the diagnosis was announced, a mole fell off her back, revealing cancer cells.
When she removed the mole, she developed a new attraction, which she said “a biopsy is required” and spent most of the treatment in 2023. Throughout 2023, Mellencamp performed more melanomas before undergoing a “broad melanoma removal” surgery, “going smoothly.”
