Talk host previews new chapter ahead of ‘Emotion’ series finale

After 15 successful seasons, it’s time to talk about the end conversation.

Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell and sheryl underwood is preparing to say goodbye to the long-running CBS series on Friday, December 20.

“We have really good chemistry,” Morales, 52, exclusively said. us weekly ahead of the show’s series finale. “I think it always comes down to the team and chemistry around you, and we all bring something so unique and different. I think everyone has such a unique background.

Kloots, 42, joined the show in 2021 and has requested enough tissues to last her through the final week of filming.

“I feel like every day is full of emotion,” she told us. “I think they’re going to highlight us every day with a montage. Montage always gets me. I think every day is going to be a tough day.

Before saying her final goodbyes, Kloots chatted with her co-star us and share some of their favorite memories from filming the daytime talk show. They also teased their future in the entertainment industry and continued their group chat.

“They are friends forever,” O’Connell, 50, declared. “I don’t think it’s over yet. It’s fun when work is over, though, because now you have to go out and make plans to meet up. But it would be fun if we saw a story that we usually talk about at work. I’ll send it to you right now!

For nearly 13 years, Underwood, 61, has brought her humor and perspective to the conversation.

“We learned a lot from each other,” the comedian said. us before embarking on her 2025 comedy tour. “I think it’s a great evolution. Our time is up. An outstanding journalist [Natalie]actor, father [Jerry]. You’re talking about a Broadway star. [Amanda]. Akbar, football player. I came in during the second season and we came in at the right time. Before leaving the studio for good, Underwood joked that she was going to borrow some holiday decorations from the set.

“See that Christmas tree behind you? It looks like the ribs on a Flintstone car,” she joked. “I’m going to put it on top of my car.”

The former NFL player enjoys creating memorable moments with special guests such as Kelly Rowland, Steve Harvey and Montel JordanGbajabiamila, 45, will remember the friends who made him a better host and colleague.

“I will miss Natalie and her professionalism and the way she handled things,” American Ninja Warrior The host told us. “She’s someone I’ve always watched and admired from afar. My friendship with Amanda. We were sitting closest to each other in chairs, but there was nothing like that in Los Angeles itself. This cool Midwestern guy, very relatable.

Gbajabiamila called O’Connell a “cool cheerleader” and praised Underwood for his priceless advice on “consistency” and “chemistry” in daytime television.

Morales is grateful conversation This allows her to “relax and have some fun” at a time when many viewers are used to seeing her as “Natalie the News”.

She’s also happy that the show is a place where celebrity guests can visit and feel comfortable.

“Whenever people come here, they love the opportunity to connect with us,” Morales explained. “Our guests have always known that this is not a trap show. This is not a show that comes out to make headlines. We are here for them to be free and have fun with us, and we have a great time every day .

Morales plans to continue working with CBS and is expected to make more television appearances 48 hours, cbs morning show and other programs.

Take a look back at all the guests who have appeared on the show conversationKloots couldn’t believe she’d met her childhood crush.

“I like to be Mark McGrath on the show,” she told us. “I had a picture of him in my high school notebook, and I confessed to him on the show, ‘You were my high school crush!’ And, Zack Morris [Mark-Paul Gosselaar] When he was on our show. It was so much fun meeting these people and in high school I didn’t miss Saturday mornings saved by the bell. Same as Tiffany Thiessen While she’s here.

Going forward, Kloots will continue to work in the health and wellness space and host Living on the Other Side with Tyler Henry on Netflix.

Jerry O’Connell

While O’Connell enjoys interviewing celebrities and chatting with his co-stars, he wanted to pay special tribute conversationwardrobe department.

“The clothes we wear are so cool,” he said us. “Now, when my wife and I go out to lunch, she’s so disappointed because it’s just me and my torn T-shirt and my dirty van.”

Looking to the future, O’Connell is excited to start taking screenwriting classes. He will also continue to be a volleyball dad to 15-year-old twin daughters Charlie and Dolly.

“It’s difficult to keep my kids playing volleyball. They’re not interested anymore,” he said. “A couple of my teenage daughters did say yesterday, ‘We’re thinking about quitting smoking.'” [And I said] “Well, how about I drive you everywhere for the last four years of my life? So what?
