Smoke hangs over Santa Clarita on Wednesday, January 22, as the Hughes Fire burns thousands of acres in California.
The video, shot by Anthony Cabasa, shows the scene inside his home as rapidly spreading inferno smoke drifts into the sky.
The fire started as a vegetation fire on Lake Hughes Road near Castic Lake and covered about 50 acres, according to Cal Fire.
