The earthquake in El Paso? The 5.0-magnitude earthquake landed in West Texas on Friday night
El Paso people may feel a little shaken by the earthquake.
A magnitude 5.0 earthquake rocked West Texas on Friday, February 14, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (U.S. Geological Survey).
The earthquake occurred around 10:23 pm, MT, nearly 33 miles northwest Toyah, Texasabout 190 miles from El Paso.
According to USGS, the earthquake hit a depth of 6.6 kilometers and some strong shaking can be felt in the nearby areas.

The National Weather Service Office in El Paso said they felt aftershocks.
“It looks like this is magnitude 4.9, assuming the “aftershock” is magnitude 2.6,” the El Paso National Weather Service’s office said.
No damage or injury was reported immediately.
