Loeffler previously bought a minority stake in the Atlanta Dream, but is reportedly no longer associated with the team.
Loeffler kidnapped Sen. Edward Markey at a confirmation hearing confirming the Trump administration’s announcement that it would freeze federal funds and grants.

Markkey, the top Democrat on the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurs Committee, expressed anger and called for a moratorium on Loeffler’s confirmation considerations after Trump fired SBA Inspector General Hannibal Ware in January.
