One year ago, Sammy Hagar and Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony took the stage at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale car auction , along with Red Voodoo, reminds car enthusiasts that there’s only one way to rock and roll, and there are some of us who can’t drive a 55.

They also sang a few Van Halen songs which sounded great. Hagar apparently had so much fun that he returned to the car auction to play a full-fledged concert with his own band at the helm, which also featured Anthony on bass.

Sammy Hagar & Friends will present a Rock the Block concert on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 8pm.

Hagar will be joined by bassist Michael Anthony, guitarist Vic Johnson of The BusBoys (and Hagar’s Wabaritos), and session ace Ken, who rose to fame as a drummer when John Mellencamp was John Cougar. Kenny Aronoff.

Passengers may carry a clutch bag no larger than 6.5 inches by 4.5 inches or a clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag no larger than 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches (or a clear one-gallon plastic bag).

Clear bags are available for sale near the auction entrance if you need them.

All luggage will be checked by security personnel and guests will be screened for weapons and contraband.

Backpacks and diaper bags that are opaque and do not meet size restrictions are prohibited.

Can I bring water to Barrett-Jackson?

Yes. Each ticket holder may bring a sealed bottle of water, no larger than 17 ounces.
