Venezuelan plane returns to Latin American countries, citizens are deported by us
Two planes sent by Venezuela returned home on Monday, with nearly 200 Venezuelans illegal in the United States as part of President Donald Trump’s massive expulsion plan.
190 immigrants returned to Venezuela, suggesting tensions between two long-term rivals could be easy, with the Trump administration winning as it tries to get countries to regain their citizens found in the United States without authorization.

Deportation aircraft from the United States to Venezuela have been halted for years, except for the short period of the Biden administration in October 2023.
A large number of Venezuelans began reaching the southern border in 2021 and remained one of the nationalities for illegal entry into the United States, which made Venezuela refuse to accept their return.
Venezuela’s new willingness to retake immigrants after Grennell visited Caracas a few weeks ago.
“This is the world we want, a world of peace, understanding, dialogue and cooperation,” said Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.

The Venezuelan government confirmed the flights earlier Monday, criticizing the “not obvious” and “false” narratives in a statement surrounding the existence of members of the Tren de Alagua gang in the United States, the statement said that most Venezuelan immigrants are decent and hardworking people. U.S. officials are trying to stigmatize the country.
The deportation flight on Monday came days after some illegal foreigners were sent to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, where they were separated from 15 detainees already there, including the planners on September 11, 2001, Terrorist attack.
A federal judge in New Mexico temporarily prevented the Trump administration from sending three Venezuelans to Guantanamo Bay on Sunday. The trio’s lawyers believed that their clients “complied with the government’s detention priorities in Guantanamo, i.e., Venezuelans were detained in the El Paso area and had (error) a (subject) with the Trend Alagua gang. Contact allegations.”

The flights also came after Secretary of State Marco Rubio reached an agreement with El Salvador and Guatemala to allow these countries to accept deportation from their citizens and other U.S. nationalities.
Trump said after Glennell’s visit that the Venezuelan government has agreed to accept “all illegal Venezuelan foreigners camped in the United States, including members of Tren de Alagua’s gang” and pay for their shuttle bus. Six Americans were released at the time in Venezuela.
