Hellcat driver believes he’s above the law

We know that the Dodge Hellcat, whether Charger or Challenger, is much faster than a police cruiser. However, just because your muscle car is fast doesn’t mean you can escape the police. In the video, this guy in a Charger Hellcat learns the hard way while evading a Clayton County deputy.
Pennsylvania State Police are ditching Fords and Dodges in favor of Chevrolet Tahoes.
We don’t know if the deputy is from the Sheriff’s elite trained Black Hawk unit. They specialize in high-speed pursuits and have extensive experience tracking down and capturing suspects.
Reportedly, the deputy decided to pull the Mopar over because the headlight was broken. Even if it’s all pretense, it could be reality, but the driver reportedly had multiple warrants for his arrest. We know this is shocking to Charger drivers (that’s sarcasm, just to clear up any confusion).
Of course, this guy ran away from the traffic stop because he didn’t want to go back to jail. But not only does he have to be able to outrun his off-hand with a Hellcat (which, frankly, should be easy), but he also has to avoid getting sabotaged in the process.
The passengers wisely step out before the chase begins. Our suspect didn’t even stagger around the first bend in the road, so he does know how to handle this powerful kitty at least reasonably well. We’ve seen some people lose control just by making a regular right turn in games like Hellcat, Poop Pack, and more.
But he didn’t abandon the deputy either, so it’s clear the suspect didn’t drop the hammer and really stretched the Hellcat’s legs. In fact, the guy kept hitting the brakes and crossing the double yellow lines like he was nervous about getting off the road.
The suspects’ fears came true when the road they were on reached a T-junction. He failed to stick to the 90-degree turn and ended up in the foliage on the side of the intersection. Unfortunately, his driving skills are not as good as the deputy’s, otherwise escape would have been a piece of cake.
