Woody Fraser, the famous American television producer and director known for creating “Good Morning America” and many other iconic programs, has died at the age of 90.
The outpouring of enthusiasm for Fraser was overwhelming after his daughter, Stacey, confirmed to Variety that Fraser died on Saturday.
“Woody Fraser was my EP on @FoxNews and a TV pioneer. He was the creator of many TV shows for 7 years,” former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee wrote on X .
Huckabee called the late producer a “legend” and noted that Fraser was his mentor on television.

Fraser’s longtime co-producer EV Di Massa Jr. also paid tribute on Facebook.
“My mentor and true producing genius Woody Frasier has passed away. So many memories. We are here to accept the Emmy Mike Douglas Lifetime Award,” Massa wrote, sharing a moment with Frasier photo.
In his extensive career, Fraser is known for his roles in The Mike Douglas Show, The Richard Simmons Show, The Dick Cavett Show, What Would You Do? The performance earned him multiple Daytime Emmy Award nominations. “Family Challenge” and “Good Morning America.”
In 1982, he won an Emmy Award for “The Richard Simmons Show” with his wife, Noreen Fraser, who was a producer on the show. Filmmaker. Noreen passed away in 2017 after a battle with breast cancer.
Frazier is credited with helping establish “Good Morning America” as a formidable morning entertainment program and served as the show’s first executive producer.

He worked in Hollywood for 50 years, starting his career in 1960 as an NBC director. One of the talk shows performed in the entertainment industry.
From 1966 to 1973, Fraser oversaw 32.5 hours of programming per week, a record at the time.

Toward the end of his career, Fraser hosted CNBC’s “McEnroe” and Fox News’ “Huckabee.”
Fraser is survived by eight children and three grandchildren. His family said more details about his death would be released later.
