Virginia law enforcement released photographers of the terrorist suspect, and the Justice Department said he admitted searching for attack routes in Abbey Gate Bombing in Afghanistan in 2021, killing 13 service personnel.
ISIS-K member Mohammad Sharifullah made his first appearance in Virginia in Virginia on Wednesday, responsible for providing material support and resources to designated foreign terrorist organizations, resulting in death.
According to the Associated Press, he wore a light blue prison jumpsuit and listened to the translated comments through his headphones.
His public defender declined to comment after appearing in court until he was detained at least until at least Monday’s detention hearing.

FBI Director Kash Patel said Sharifullah was extradited to the United States on Tuesday night to “face American justice.”
Patel added on X: “In 3 and 1/2 years, we are 13 years old justice.”
President Donald Trump, who announced his captives in a pre-UN address, said he was “happy to announce that we have just arrested the biggest terrorists against this atrocity.”

In the summer of 2021, US and coalition forces are conducting evacuation operations at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul during the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.
The Ministry of Justice said the monastery gate was the main entrance to the operation, and according to the Ministry of Justice, thousands of civilians were in the area.
Abdul Rahman al-Logari, a member of the Islamic State of Iraq and the ISIS-K province, “detonated a suicide bomb in the gates of the monastery, killing 13 U.S. military service members, about 160 civilians and killing 160 civilians.”

Sharifullah admitted to raiding the attack route and trained gunmen to terrorist attacks near Moscow last year, according to an affidavit released by the Justice Ministry this week.
