Gene Hackman’s property attempts to block release of death investigation record
Gene Hackman and Betsy Arakawa’s real estate attempt to stop the release of photos, videos and footage of police officer Bodycam related to the couple’s death.
Attorney Kurt Sommer filed a petition Tuesday with the Santa Fe District Court in an attempt to prevent medical investigators and the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office from releasing videotapes, according to Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The petition attempted to prevent the couple’s autopsy and “death investigation” from being released until their death lawsuits.
Sommer wrote that once the image is published, “the bell cannot be irrelevant.”

Sommer argues that the couple’s privacy rights exceed the public interest of the couple’s death. He cites Kurt Cobain’s death in the petition, noting that the court refused to release photos of the “death scene”.
“The signed lawyer could not think of the respective damages that respecting Mr. Hackman and Mrs. Hackman Alakawa would cause to the state and county offices.”
“The signature lawyer could not think of the respective harm that respecting Mr. Hackman and Mrs. Hackman Alakawa would cause to the state and county offices,” he wrote.
“In their lives, hackers have taken significant value for their privacy and have taken affirmative, vigilant steps to protect their privacy.
“The Huckmans are members of this community, not part-time residents. Personal representatives try to continue to protect the privacy of the hackers after their tragic deaths and support the constitutional right of family memory and desire for peace.”

Sommer has no comments on Fox News Digital.
The Associated Press reported that the petition details Gene and Betty’s discrete lifestyle in Santa Fe.
The petition said the deceased “had spent more than three decades of exemplary private life in Santa Fe, New Mexico, without showing their way of life.”

Gene and Betsy’s properties are represented by Julia Peters, partner and chief consultant at Avalon Trust Co. Investment Co.
According to the petition, Peters is Hackman’s third choice. According to Santa Fe, New Mexico, Betsy is Gene’s first choice, and his second choice is attorney Michael G. Sutin. Sudan died in 2019.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department confirmed at a press conference that Betsie may die on February 11 and Gene is likely to die a week later.
New Mexico officials told reporters that Bessie died of Hanta virus pulmonary syndrome. Gene death from hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s disease is an important factor.

February 18 is the last day of Gene’s Pacemaker record. The device points to the “abnormal rhythm of atrial fibrillation.”

Gene’s autopsy shows “serious heart diseaseincluding multiple surgical procedures involving the heart, evidence of previous heart attacks, and kidney changes due to chronic hypertension. ”

Authorities determined that Betty passed away around February 11 through her activities and communications. The former classical pianist had an email conversation on the morning of February 11 before heading to a local grocery store, a pharmacy and a pet store. Garage clicker data shows she returned to the couple’s gated community around 5:15 p.m.
