During a appearance on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, the actress on Wonder Woman revealed a painful medical emergency that sent her to the hospital when she was eight months pregnant.
“I suffered a huge fear. Suddenly, I realized the meaning of being scared to death,” Gadot said. “I’m very pregnant.”

“I have a brain clot, and that’s a huge clot. Like three, I have three,” she said. “When I do something, I keep doing it. I have a headache for three weeks and I see doctors and different neurologists. You have to advocate for your health. Our bodies are always communicating with us.”
Initially, her medical team attributed her symptoms to migraines and hormones, Gadot said.
She recalled: “Three weeks later, after the headache, my mom was like, ‘You need to check it out. You need to go to an MRI.’
“We did it, they found this terrible thing and we were taken to the hospital,” Gadott added. “They took the baby out immediately. I had a thrombectomy.”

According to the Cleveland Clinic, a thrombectomy is a procedure for removing blood clots from an artery or vein. “The process can restore blood flow to vital organs, such as legs, arms, intestines, kidneys, brain or other vital organs. If performed quickly, a thrombectomy can greatly reduce the risk of death or permanent disability.”
After thanking her “amazing” medical team, she urged the audience to always be alert when it comes to health.
Daughters Alma, shared with husband Jaron Varsano, and Daniella, 3, and Daniella, 1, shared “Love yourself, check yourself and stay healthy.”
Last December, Gadot shared an emotional post on social media detailing her year of “deep challenges and deep thoughts” and photos with her hospital shortly after her baby girl was born.

Gadot, in Varsano’s fourth pregnancy secret, announced that she had given birth to her daughter in a post shared online in March.
“In February, during the eighth month of pregnancy, I was diagnosed with a large amount of blood clots in my brain,” Gadott wrote. “For weeks, I endured the outrageous headache that made me go to bed until I finally accepted that the MRI revealed the horrible truth.”
“For a moment, my family and I are facing the vulnerability of life. It’s a clear reminder of the speed at which everything will change, and in a tough year, all I want is perseverance and life.”

“We rushed to the hospital and within a few hours, I had emergency surgery,” she continued. “My daughter, Ori, was born with uncertainty and fear in that moment.

Gadot thanks her doctors team at Cedars Sinai Los Angeles In “Weeks of Specialized Care”.
“I have completed my journey to recovery. Today, I am fully recovered and full of gratitude for my life,” she wrote.
