“I think that could be misinterpreted as, I’m doing this because I want to say I can do it, but that’s not the case.” night agent star, 30, said during an appearance on Tuesday, January 14 The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “For me, it’s about immersion for the audience.”

“I don’t want the audience to be watching the show and then right when I’m about to get hit, get whipped on the hip or get thrown on my back, you know. I feel like that’s a lie,” the actor said. “I like acting, not lying.”
For Basso, he sees a “difference” in performing stunts for “audience immersion” and “for believability.”
“They like Peter [and] I think it’s important to see him get hit,” he explained. “If this requires me being thrown against a wall, that’s okay. It’s not the end of the world.
