Four people were pronounced dead at a home in Bloomington, Illinois on Sunday, February 23.
According to the press release, the Bloomington Police Department and the McLean County Coroner’s Office are investigating the deaths in the 900 block of North Lee Street. The McLean County coroner announced four deaths at the scene.
The four will not be released until the next relative is notified, and the autopsy is under trial.
Preliminary investigations show that as of Sunday night, there is no threat to the public.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of those who have lost their lives today,” Jamal Simington, Bloomington Police Commissioner, said in a statement. “Our detectives continue to work hard.” Investigate this unfortunate incident so as to get some answers for the victims’ loved ones and our community.”
The Bloomington Police Department and the McLean County Coroner’s Office are continuing the investigation.
