Florida women allegedly attacked men with gardening tools after canceling plans

A Florida woman allegedly attacked a man with a plan to cancel the plan with her.

Melanie Davis, 47, plans to cancel her with a man, according to Fox 13 Tampa Bay, and plans to get her in line with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. She canceled.

Davis, allegedly upset about his decision, went to his home in Frostproof, Florida around 3 a.m. Tuesday and began yelling from outside.

Investigators said the dispute escalated when Davis climbed onto his property, pushed the door and started punching him.

At some point, she grabbed the gardening tool and hit him with it, which caused a severe cut in his arm.

The man was taken to the hospital when Davis was sent to jail.

She is charged with burglary with armed forces, with batteries, with deadly weapons, simple batteries and aggravated batteries for crime mischief.

Davis’s office in the Polk County Sheriff’s office dates back to 1997, when she was charged with assault at the age of 19.

Prison records show she was arrested 27 times in Polk County before the incident last week. Her previous expenses ranged from theft to the battery, resulting in serious injuries.

The last time she was booked at the Polk County Jail was in March 2024, when she was charged with domestic violence against someone over the age of 65.
