The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for local precipitation, which may be hazardous but is not expected to accumulate. Additionally, winter storm watches and warnings indicate a greater chance of accumulation of snow, sleet or ice.

The agency warned travelers to use caution in affected areas this weekend.
