Nearly a year after filing for divorce from his wife Olivia, Ethan Plath There’s someone new in his life.
The 26-year-old Welcome to Plathville The star introduced his new girlfriend to his fans on Wednesday, January 1, in a series of photos posted via Instagram. He did not reveal her name or how they met.
“Proud to introduce my lovely girlfriend! She is truly one of the sweetest, kindest, most patient people I know!” Ethan wrote. “Looking forward to next year and what it will bring. Happy New Year to everyone Happy! Let’s go in 2025!
In the first photo, the couple sit outside a car repair shop, followed by a series of photos taken by Ethan without her knowledge, before slowly realizing she had been filmed while searching inside the car.
Other photos include a bathroom selfie, the pair posing in front of a yellow convertible, and more photos of them sitting across from each other.
Ethan and Olivia, also 26, split in 2023 after five years of marriage. They finalized their divorce in 2024, and fans watched the TLC show’s sixth season unfold.
While Ethan was initially hesitant to rejoin the dating pool, Olivia has been candid about her love life since their split.
“I’ve been dating outside of Los Angeles, mostly long-distance,” she said in a Season 6 episode. “I found it was a great way to stay separate, like my single personal life in LA, figure out my life and still have some fun while traveling, dating, talking to people, but I I You don’t see them every day.
Her new boyfriend Brendan also appeared on the latest season of ” Welcome to Plathville.
Ethan admits he had trouble getting over Olivia, but in a late episode of last season he got back into it when he asked a woman for her phone number while dancing. He had largely refrained from talking about his personal life on social media ahead of Wednesday’s hard launch.
“Our relationship just wasn’t working, even though God knows we both gave it our all,” he reflected in a 2023 Instagram post announcing his separation from Olivia. “We always seemed to have different goals in life. Constantly pulling each other in opposite directions. I wish Olivia the best for her future. I care deeply about her and always will.
