Dolly Parton’s husband, Carl Dean, passed away Monday, March 3, according to the country’s star. He is 82 years old.
“Carl and I have spent years together,” the singer wrote on social media.
“Words cannot deliver justice to the 60-year love we share together. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy.”

Dean rarely sees Parton around him, but always plays a strong supportive role in his wife’s life.
