Video shows emotional former USDA worker leaving federal building after vacation

Video by Fox News Digital shows former US International Development Agency (USAID) employees collected their property and exited the federal building for the last time after a large number of layoffs.
On Thursday, dozens of people gathered outside the US Agency for International Development building in Washington, D.C. to support former Sue Air employees who were recently on holiday, holding signs that read “You are not a federal worker who should be fired” to “make the United States compassionate again.”
In protest against layoffs, supporters met with former Sue Air employees, with their property and flowers carrying their own property and flowers as they left the building in a line.
One employee’s poster reads: “Dorge fired me illegally and all I get is this stupid sign.”

Images captured by Fox News Digital show that workers and supporters are becoming emotional as former employees leave the building.
The Ministry of Government Efficiency (DOGE) led by billionaire Elon Musk, layoffs were made and cuts were made after the plan and program “waste” spending around the world were determined, and cuts were recommended.

“The staff will be about 15 minutes to complete this search and must delete items within their time slots,” the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) said in their instructions.

“Staff who are searching for large numbers of personal belongings must recognize the time; however, in cases where the security office is approved, flexibility can be given in some cases,” the agency said.
USAID did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
