Scottie Scheffler brings Tex-Mex flavor to 2025 Masters Dinner

After a brief year of vacation, two-time champion Scottie Scheffler re-planned his responsibilities of planning a menu for the Champions Masters Club dinner.

In honor of the defending champion of the competition, the dinner dates back to 1952, when Ben Hogan organized dinners for past winners. The dinner was specially designed for the Masters champion, and the club president Fred Ridley invited honorary guests.

Scheffler scored under 68 in the final 18 holes last year, beating four in the match with 11 shots, defeating Sweden’s Ludvig Åberg, who beat his second green jacket with four.

Club members will first enjoy the appetizer variety consisting of cheeseburger sliders, firecrackers and meatballs and wonton bites, then continue to feast on Texas-style chili peppers, followed by a main course with denim ribs or black red fish.

For dessert? Warm chocolate frying pan cookies and vanilla bean ice cream waiting.

While the above product is far from the Spanish flavor of the 2024 menu curated by Jon Rahm (which includes Gernika Peppers, Gildas and Lentil Stew), Eagle-Eyed golf fans may have noticed that this year’s lineup is similar to when Scheffler was hosted in 2023.

Hey, if it’s not going bankrupt, don’t fix it. …This makes us wonder about tortilla soup.
