Colombian protesters’ immigration arrest fuel debate ahead of court hearing

The judge ruled that Palestinian Mahmoud Khalil, from Syria, had a U.S. green card and could remain in the country until Wednesday’s court hearing. Former student activist Khalil was charged with protests during last year’s protests, which shut down Columbia University. Lilia Luciano reported.
