Cher is looking back on her second marriage — and what went wrong.

In her best-selling book “Cher: A Memoir Part One,” the singer reflects on her relationship with Gregg Allman and why she said “I do” so quickly.

According to the book, Cher’s divorce from ex-husband Sonny Bono was finalized in June 1975, by which time she had begun dating the rocker.

The 78-year-old admitted she had reservations about her romance with the Allman Brothers singer.

“I don’t know if my relationship with Gregory will last,” the star wrote, as quoted by People magazine on Wednesday.

“I live every day,” she shared. “Then I found out I was pregnant and we decided to get married.”

According to the outlet, if Cher had a baby, she would want to get married.

“I just kept putting one foot in front of the other,” Cher wrote, according to the outlet. “The future is never set in stone. I did what I thought was right.”

The book states that Cher’s sister Georgina “Gee” and her friend Paulette looked at the singer “as if I had entered another universe” after telling them she was getting married. Cher responded: “Come on, let’s do this.”

The media pointed out that the wedding took place just days after Cher and Bono divorced.

“There was nothing romantic about our wedding day,” the Oscar winner admitted.

Nine days after their wedding, Cher filed for annulment. They reconciled.

In 1976, the couple had a son named Elijah Blue Allman.

The New York Post previously reported that the “Believe” singer initially filed for divorce after allegedly discovering a “plastic bag filled with white powder” that belonged to her spouse.

Things took a turn for the worse when she later learned that Allman was addicted to heroin.

“[I] Tell him on the phone, ‘I’m really tired of doing this, Gregory. I’m tired of going to rehab with you,” she recalled. “He was quiet on the other end of the phone. “But I’m going to keep going,” he said softly.

“His answer stopped me in my tracks because it was true,” Cher continued. “He continued to go to rehab, continued to work on his addiction, and continued to try despite past failures. In that moment, I stopped thinking about my own exhaustion and felt for him.”

Cher writes that her “turning point” came after Allman had a “paranoid breakdown” one night.

“[He] Insisted he saw someone with a gun in his backyard,” the Grammy winner wrote.

Cher was completely devastated, angry, shocked. To her, everything was going great. She would basically say, ‘What the hell is going on?'”

Paul claimed Allman “cryed for almost an hour” before working up the courage to tell her, “I’m a drug addict.”

“The good news is I’m madly in love with you, but the bad news is I have a problem,” he told her.

A “carefree” Cher allegedly said, “It doesn’t matter – we can beat this.”
