Golfer Charley Hull eats enough chocolate to gain weight

Golfer Charley Hull Never known for making the healthiest decisions in the course – but she revealed that her offseason was also full of indulgence.

Hull, 28, is notorious for smoking during the game, reveals that his most recent trip to Belgium is almost her best.

“The best thing I did during the offseason was to go to Bruges and eat a lot of chocolate,” Hull told reporters before PIF Saudi Ladies International on Wednesday, February 12. It’s really good.”

When asked how much chocolate she ate during her vacation in Belgium, Hull said: “It’s enough to bear a lot of weight. But I ran enough to not bear a lot of weight. But yeah, it’s great.”

Hull posted a carousel of her trip to Bruges in December 2024 via Instagram, which included some photos of strawberries sprinkled with chocolate.

Despite her smoking habits, Hull is a dedicated fitness nut. At a press conference on Wednesday, the British golfer explained her 2025 “main goal” is to “try to reduce my 5K run time to 20 minutes.” Hull noted that her current time hovers around “currently about 26 minutes”.

“I don’t train golf,” Hull added. “I have zero interest in golf training. I don’t want to be a golfer. I want to be an athlete. I train because it’s good for my mental health, it’s good for me.”

Hull further explained her training mentality in a January 2025 article, saying bluntly: “Golf training is boring.”

“I have no interest in this except for my training and weight,” Hull wrote. “I like to run as a hobby, physical health and mind. The closer you are, the more fixed you are, the less lag you get, and the more endurance you are The more.”

She added: “I hate being a lazy person, I like to live life in the fast lane forever. Sleep is key, even though I get it [about] I sleep for 10-11 hours a night, but I can also survive for 4-5 hours without any problem. ”

As for those who question Hull’s preference for smoking during her fitness obsession, she wrote: “This is the only bad thing I did!” Hull explained that she “had all my drinks” at the age of 18 and 19.

Hull drove the virus after hanging out on an American woman’s open plan in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in May 2024.

“It’s crazy,” Hull told Daily Mail In August 2024. “I’m not what I expected, but I think it shows that any publicity is good publicity.”

She added: “I would rather be my golf headlines, but hopefully it helps to attract some new fans to golf!”

As for the origin of her smoking habit, Hull said, “Everyone in my family is smoking.” While actually smoking on the golf course, Hull told reporters earlier that it “relaxed” her.
