Naughty Boy has been defended by his family after being criticised for expressing his plans to quit ITV's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on Tuesday night.
The 36 year old DJ, whose real name is Shahid Khan, has been living in the Clink since arriving the first night and previously expressed he felt "traumatised" by his experience.
And after he told his fellow campmates he wanted to leave following a betrayal by the Main Camp, some viewers didn't take too kindly to his needs and made it known on social media.
However, a family member was quick to defend him on Twitter as they re-shared another person's tweet around the stigma of mental health around men.
"This! If only everyone knew what he's battling on the outside world," they tweeted from Naughty Boy's official Twitter account.
"His mum (my nan) is battling dementia and he has been taking care of her for the last 5 years. This is the first time he has left her to do something life-changing! He is just overwhelmed and he will be fine."
The post they had re-shared read: "I've got to be honest, I'm not comfortable with the reaction to Naughty Boy on here.
"To me, it appears like he has some deep-rooted issues with himself and may not be mentally prepared to deal with the show and the failure. #ImACeleb."
It was added: "In a world where so many say to 'be kind' and so much focus on mental health and changing the stigma around men and depression/anxiety, the reaction and comments towards Naughty Boy are disappointing to say the least. #ImACeleb."
After expressing his desire to leave, Naughty Boy was trolled online and accused of "pulling a Gemma Collins", who famously left the show in 2014 after 72 hours.
Others even tweeted they would be voting for him to do more tasks so they could see "more drama unfold".
This comes after Naughty Boy felt betrayed by the Main Camp during another Bushtucker trial named Treacherous Traps.
He also had to do another challenge earlier in the day to win some biscuits for camp – which he lost.
Coming back to his campmates, Naughty Boy declared: "I do think my time here is done."
"I had a feeling earlier, and I was thinking about mum, and obviously I love you guys…
"I don't think after knowing what the Main Camp probably knew what they were putting me through knowing I did the challenge earlier – I don't know if I could ever join that camp."
