Mike Tindall will tell funny stories on Royal Family but wont spill the beans, expert says

Mike Tindall will refrain from "spilling the beans" about the Royal Family during his time on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, a psychologist has shared.

The 44 year old former rugby player made his grand debut on the fan favourite ITV programme on Sunday 6 November, blowing fans away with his calm mannerism as he met his fellow campmates ahead of their first trials.

And while Mike warned he's an "open book" ahead of his entrance, behavioural and media psychologist Jo Hemmings has shared her belief that he will remain closed-mouthed about the Royal Family.

"I think he'll run pretty tight-lipped. He's had his opportunities in the past. He might tell some funny stories, but I don't think they would ever be indiscreet. He won't be spilling any serious beans, I would have thought," Jo explained in an exclusive chat with OK! magazine.

When asked what she believes the Firm will think of Mike heading Down Under to take part the brutal Bushtucker trials, Jo explained: "I don't think they will fear he will spill the beans, he's got no agenda. There's no reason for him to say anything critical of the Royal Family, because they feel warm to him.

"They probably wouldn't have suggested it by themselves. I don't think they'll have a strong opinion against them going in there."

Jo went on to describe Mike as a "normal bloke" who has his own career. She said he married the woman he loves, who "happens to be in the Royal Family".

"I think he just hopes to be liked… He's certainly strong, he is going to be doing some of the hard graft in there."

Mike, whose affectionate nickname for Zara was recently revealed, has already won the hearts of the nation, who've decided he's their "fave royal" after seeing him ace his first trial on the programme.

During the introductory trial, Mike, Owen Warner, 23, and Sue Cleaver, 59, battled the elements and critters to solve a puzzle in the hopes of unlocking a star.

Before long, Mike volunteered to submerge himself under the water and swim into an overturned boat, telling his co-stars that he would do it as he has “no hair.”

It took the rugby player way too long to realise a spider was on his head, which he swatted away effortlessly before telling his teammates.

Mike’s introduction went down a treat with fans, as one person wrote: “Mike Tindall is my call for Winner & King of the Jungle 2022. @DannyBMiller can keep his Crown as Mike will borrow one of King Charles real ones for his Coronation. He is going to be TV gold! He is going to be TV gold!”
