Love Island’s Liberty Poole, Corrie’s Sally Dynevor and Kimberly Wyatt pose during DOI rehearsals

Dancing on Ice 2022 is almost here with Love Island’s Liberty Poole, Corrie’s Sally Dynevor and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt posing on the ice at the show's rehearsals.

Coronation Street's Sally posted two photos to Instagram featuring herself, Liberty and Kimberly messing around on the ice after the line-up was announced last week.

In the first photo, the women strike their best 'bond girl' poses in their white ice skates, with Sally pointing her fingers up in the air as she's surrounded by Liberty and Kimberly on either side, posing with their arms out to the side.

In the second photo, the three of them are joined by skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean as they pose on the ice.

Sally captioned the image: "The journey has begun. Got to meet our heroes #torvillanddean with the gorgeous Bond girls."

Contestants for the 2022 series of Dancing On Ice have been gradually announced over the past few days, with S Club's Rachel Stevens, Bez from Happy Mondays and Lorraine presenter Ria Hebden among those set to join Sally, Liberty and Kimberly on the ice.

They will also be joined by The Vamps' Connor Ball, BMX Olympian Kye White and English rugby union player Ben Foden, among others.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will once again host the new series while dancer Ashley Banjo and skating icons Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will make up the judging panel.

John Barrowman will not return for his judging duties in January 2022 for the new series, with ITV thanking him for his "two brilliant years".

Speaking on Lorraine after being announced for the show, Sally – whose daughter is Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor – said: "If I don't do it this year, I don't think I'm ever going to do it. I'm completely out of my comfort zone… I've just got to try and enjoy this experience."

Announcing that she was joining DOI on Instagram, Love Island's Liberty Poole wrote: "I'm going to be learning to dance… on ice! Wish me luck! So excited to join the show that I’ve loved watching for year’s @dancingonice @itv."

Meanwhile, Pussycat Dolls band member Kimberly Wyatt told Heart Breakfast: "I have signed up for Dancing on Ice! I’m nervous, that ice is going to hit hard. I’m just excited to see what I can do on there. I’m up for a challenge!”

Dancing On Ice will return to screens in January 2022.
