Love Island’s Ekin-Su fears ‘bad luck’ after yellow bean bag ‘follows her home’

Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has joked that she's worried "bad luck" and drama may be on the horizon after the unlucky yellow bean bag from the ITV2 villa "followed" her and Davide Sanclimenti home.

During the latest series, the yellow bean bag sparked worry among the contestants as they theorised that it was bringing them drama after they sat on it.

In one episode, the Islanders could even be seen warning bombshell Nathalia Campos not to sit on the beanbag yet she ignored this warning with her fellow co-stars telling her she would now have "drama."

Explaining the theory in the Beach Hut, Tasha Ghouri said: "That yellow bean bag, there is a very proven fact that it does bring drama every time someone sits on it… it happens.

"So obviously if you want to go sit on it, I wish you well, but you've basically brought it on yourself because the drama happens. So… it's obviously a proven fact."

And now Ekin-Su, 28, has taken to Instagram to share a clip of a similar, if not the same, yellow bean bag.

Speaking over the video, she says: "Well would you look what followed us home. The yellow bean bag."

"Hope it doesn't bring us bad luck" added the actress, as she kicked the bean bag.

It comes as Ekin-Su is set to appear on next year's Dancing On Ice, alongside football legend John Fashanu and former EastEnders actress Pasty Palmer.

Speaking to OK! at the TV Choice Awards, Ekin-Su discussed what she hopes will be her second TV win, saying: "It's very intense but I love every minute of it.

"Am I competitive? Yes. Do I think anyone's gonna win? No, because people can really surprise you."

Davide added that: "She’s putting a lot of effort in…" He also said he was looking forward to watching his girlfriend compete in the hit ITV show, joking that he would be in "pole position".

Ekin-Su and Davide, 27, have revealed that they will be spending the festive season together for their first Christmas as a couple.

"We’re just going to have a family meal, friends, presents…" Ekin-Su told OK!, adding that they are hoping to move into their new London home, before the big day.
