Taking on yet another business venture, Kim Kardashian has announced the release of her latest fashion endavour.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star took to her social media accounts to promote her underwear.
Opting for shapewear, the babe released a plethora of curve-enhancing undies – and most of her fans were more than impressed.
However, she was still slammed by a number of her followers after announcing the name of the brand.
“Kimono is my take on shapewear and solutions for women that actually work”
Taking to Instagram, Kim wrote: “Finally I can share this with you guys this project I have been developing for the last year.
“Kimono is my take on shapewear and solutions for women that actually work.”
Trademarking her brand, she shared the official name as Kimono Solutionwear, and was quickly slammed for cultural appropriation.
Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: “Naming your product with Japanese words might seem hip and all.
“But it really sucks for us when our culture is diluted by names of brands that don’t have anything to do with what the word actually represents.”
Another added: “How do I trademark what the f**k is wrong with you?”
A third person added: “I find the naming of your products baffling, if not outright culturally offensive, especially if it’s merely a word play on your name. Please reconsider.”
However, Kim is currently maintaining her name Kimono and is yet to address the backlash.
Despite being slammed for cultural appropriation, Kim’s fans have loved the actual concept.
The babe added in a number of different styles for the collection, including a one-sided bottom specifically for slit skirts.
