The Jonas Brothers join Kelsea Ballerini on stage for the 2021 CMT Artists of the Year, which aired on Wednesday (October 4)!
Because they’re on tour together, they pre-taped their performance as Kelsea was one of the nominees this year.
They performed Joe Cocker‘s rendition of The Beatles song “With a Little Help from My Friends.”
Back in Nashville on Wednesday (October 14), Kelsea‘s husband Morgan Evans hit the red carpet at the event, where he was on hand to help present the honor to her during the ceremony.

“pandemics, pivots, and parachutes. life happens and priorities shift and we all get new perspectives of who we are and what matters. the last year and a half has reinforced my deep and true love of writing. of music. of the very real need to make it, share it, and mostly… enjoy it,” Kelsea shared on Instagram.
“like all of the incredible artists being honored tonight as the @cmt artists of the year, staying connected and creative is where the magic lives. thank you everyone at CMT for the honor, thank you to the other artists in this special format that raise the bar and inspire me, to my sweet husband for being in the room for me, and to the so very lovely @jonasbrothers for making tonight extra special. 🙏” she added.
Also pictured at the event were Gabby Barrett, who was also an honoree and performer, her husband Cade Foehner, Cassadee Pope and Pentatonix‘s Kevin Olusola, who performed with Boyz II Men to honor to Chris Stapleton.
